Back to School: Meet the YouthQuest Site Team Leaders and Lead Learning Guides

|

Although YouthQuest is starting most of its fall programming in the virtual space, it is still a great way to engage your student in a variety of activities including enrichment, leadership development, nutrition, physical fitness and academic support.

“YouthQuest is still committed to delivering quality programming both in-person and online,” says Nefertari Jones, program director for YouthQuest. “We are fortunate to have a team of great people who are excited to help students learn and grow.”

At each site, YouthQuest has a Site Team Leader who oversees the program, a YQ Comprehensive lead learning guide who oversees clubs, such as cooking and art, and a YQ Clubhouse lead learning guide who oversees club sports such as basketball and karate.

Below, meet your YouthQuest Site Team Leader and leads at each site:

Eisenhower Elementary.

What’s your best YouthQuest Memory?

I moved around a lot from different sites. One time I visited some students at my former YouthQuest site, and they were all very excited and asked if I was coming back to the site. I had to tell them no, but I still got crazy love from them.

India Boone, YQ Comprehensive
